ANZAC biscuits
Below Is my post about ANZAC biscuits. Here is some history of the ANZAC biscuits.
At first the ANZAC biscuits were called Soldier biscuits but after the lading at Gallipoli they changed the name to ANZAC biscuits. To ensure that the biscuits stayed crisp they were packed in used tins such as Billy tea tins.
How to make ANZAC biscuits
1 cup of rolled oats
1 cup of plain flour
1 cup of sugar
3/4 cup coconut
125g of sugar
2 table spoons of golden syrup
1/2 of a teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 table spoon of boiling water
First pre-heat the oven to 150 degrees or 300 degrees F
First. get a bowl and put your oats into the bowl and sift the flour into the bowl now put the sugar and coconut/ combine
Second combine the butter and golden syrup over low heat until melted
Third combine soda with boiling water and mix with melted butter and mix into dry ingredients
Now take a teaspoon of mixture and put lightly on a slightly greased tray make sure there is room for spreading
now put them in the oven for 20 minutes
